Immortal Victory: A Poem
God is real. Thus, good will prevail.
Evil’s danger is an illusory veil.
Every error in history righted,
as no injustice went unsighted.
Every tragedy, loss, and crime
was always, in awaited time,
a plan to bring more and more
comedy, victory, and an encore
of the ultimate spiritual war.
No more “What’s it all for?”
We always knew the score -
We’ll dance with triumphal leaps
upon The Enemy’s bone-heaps!
It sounds familiar, we sing,
this uncreated music’s ring.
Even before I ever had skin I dreamed,
of The Light which all-beauteously gleamed.
Even back then I already knew,
though now I’m amazed it’s true,
that earth and heaven shall be one.
Ecstasy is all! Other possibilities undone.
But I know even my best thoughts deep,
are a pale shadow, hardly just a peep,
of that new and endless dawn,
over which I’ll adoringly fawn.
No matter the trial I will persevere,
because that blessed hour is near,
When I arrive at that fated capstone of history,
and my eternal soul enjoys immortal victory!
