XI. Spiritual Warfare is Precise!

Exorcistic rites are a part of every culture, and this is because demons are a real and perennial problem every culture in every age has had to deal with. Exorcistic rites all have certain things in common. No doubt, some rites must be better than others. I have long desired to study the exorcistic rites of all cultures in order to bring the best elements of all such rites together to create an ultimate rite of exorcism, or even to discover an “ur-exorcism” rite from whence all contemporary exorcistic rites descend. But that is the work of a lifetime, and though I intend to complete such a project at a later time, the reality is that the situation in this world now just too dire for me to wait until I am done with that immense work to share what I have learned so far. The truth is, my dear reader, what we really need now is an exorcistic lifestyle and not just an exorcistic rite, since the presence and influence of the demonic in modernity is so pervasive that no single rite could ever be sufficient as it was in the days of yore. I am still working on discovering and living such a life style myself.
